The dollar index, which tracks the U.S. currency against six major rivals, rose 0.20 percent at 99.977 after Fed vice governor Fischer said he expected two more interest rate hike this year. The euro rose 0.11 percent at $1.0726 against the greenback as Macron won the first round of the French presidential election on Sunday. The euro jumped over 100 bps against the dollar on Monday. Against the yen, the dollar was down 0.22 percent at 109.07. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.0950 and $1.0700 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 111.50 and 109.00 respectively.
